OpenMoko, a subsidiary of FIC, and also a GPE-based "desktop environment" for mobile phones and PDAs, released the Neo1973, a phone based on Linux and OpenMoko, in a developer version 2nd week of July, and the consumer release is coming next October 2007. Guess what? They'll be in Beijing giving us a presentation and answering our questions one week after our August meeting! When do we meet?
- Monthly Meetings - every 2nd Tuesday of every month around Gui Jie
- Chuanr Nights Social Events - arranged by Chuanr Committee once or twice a month at selected chuanr restaurants
- Special Guests in Town Meetings - whenever we have guests specialized in Open Source coming to Beijing
- Groups Meetings - to be announced by Group Leaders respectively on a weekly, monthly or occasional basis
- Open Source conferences or events
- BLUG Anniversary - every year on November 19th
