This month Beijing LUG is doing a special on Open Source Content Management Systems. This is a session that we've been preparing since December last year and we'll be talking about at least 3 very popular solutions: Drupal, Joomla! and Xoops. Due to confusion in dates from your President we'll be talking about mainly Xoops. The project maintainer and lead developer, Jiang Taiwen, will come in person to give use all the specificities and strength of this Open Source Content Management System. Of course, anyone with experience in any other Open Source CMS is welcome to join and participate in the Q&A session.

After that, Julien Chol, Linux user and author of the popular Pollution-China BLOG has been kind enough to prepare an introduction at the last minute to save us from missing a second topic. He'll cover the current situation in Beijing, why and how, and what to expect in the near future. It's probably a good opportunity to have a chance to ask all the questions you may have about air in the parks, in your home depending where you live and so on.

Free drinks for everyone thanks to Red Flag Chinese 2000. Who said Open Source was about freedom and not free beer? At Beijing LUG you're getting both!
