My apologies for this late announcement. The next 'Codi for Fun' event will be on SUNDAY the 28th of december. Last month we had a great list of projects and lots of new people, may of them university students. See the report here. The Quadcopter Group will be joining us again, and this month they expect to make their first flight experiments! The OpenLibrary Group is also eager to continue their work. Pike, Foresight and OLPC are potential topics as well... "Coding for Fun" aims to bring together developers and users of Free Software in an informal way to encourage them to share their projects and experience. You may work on your own project or join others. You could also give a short presentation or demo of your current work and maybe get some feedback and suggestions. If you would like to learn about Free Software development, this is the right place. Here you can find out how you can contribute to the Free Software community not only as a programmer, but also in many other ways. If you would like to attend this event we invite you to register below and share with us what kind of project you would like to work on or what you want to learn about. You may also join the Coding for Fun group here at the website and share your ideas or questions in the forum. Looking forward to see you. NOTE: this month the event is on a SUNDAY! |
